awesome sea view room!
warm greeting family room lovely view
pete greeted me so warmly. he showed me all the facilities in my family room sea view. it was perfect for my short stay! the sea view was lovely, like, really lovely.

a satisfactory stay
spacious room sea view rough edges poor workmanship
the room was spacious and had a lovely sea view. breakfast had good value, and there was no pressure to order it. i enjoyed the convenience.
The room i stayed in was a bit rough around the edges. it started leaking during heavy rain. It was not the hotel owners fault, just poor workmanship.

A Decent Stay
ceiling fan friendly owner stained carpet rundown hotel
The room had a FAN built into the ceiling light. This helped keep the room cool. The owner and manager was lovely and friendly, I found this cute.
The hotel looks a little run down. It needs a good paint in halls and stairway. I also noted the room carpet was very stained.

minor issues during stay
dirty cups uncleaned carpet
The room looked okay at first. spending time in it revealed some problems. the carpet had not been hoovered. I found a chip under the table. coffee cups and plastic cups near the kettle were dirty. luckily, i had sanitiser spray and wipes.

underwhelming stay
old building cooking fat smell
the breakfast was alright, nothing special but acceptable.
the front of the building looked aged and needed some fresh paint. the entrance had cobwebs full of dead flies, it was uninviting. inside, a strong smell of old cooking fat filled the lobby, very unpleasant.

modern shower room large tv fantastic manager uncomfortable bed office blind pier lights
The room had a modern shower room. It also had a LARGE smart tv in the room. The manager seemed fantastic, he was called pete.
The beds WERE not the comfiest. The room had only an office blind, not curtains. Lights from the pier SHONE into the bedroom at night.
